Local news is nothing more than what's on the national news. Apparently they all knew each other, so as things go in this city, I expect the "victim" will be intimidated or threatened to drop charges and refuses to testify... That would be the norm in a city that finds pride in the fact they have a gin swilling mob attorney as the mayor...then voted in a governor while he was under investigation for indecent assault... Gotta love it! But remember, this is the only place in the US you can get a burger and beer at 0400 AM on Sunday, on the way to church...

Just heard the OJ audio tape of the hold-up. Neato. I especially liked his frequent use of he "MF'er" term. Clearly he is just a nice and disabled old athlete with no real capacity for violence and rage. I have a feeling that his defense team on this one is going to be more on the "bargain side" of skillset.IP: Logged |

I am guessing that there are already odd makers and betting in Vegas on the outcome of OJ's fate. Put me down for a 2 piece (2 years) on conspiracy and assault charges.

An examiner friend of mine just took a picture of OJ with his cell phone last week----seeing him sight seeing around his city by happenstance. My friend is not a fawning fan----or even the type of guy who would use a phone camera--much less on a joke like OJ-----which to me is a hilarious coincidence. ISUnot.IP: Logged |
